Kynoppe, through its TactHill™ brand, is launching a new range of anti-vandal push buttons combining aesthetics, robustness and endurance.

With an instantaneous breaking capacity of 5A-250Vac or 2A-24Vdc, the NONC contact form C, from the SIRIUS range, is available in 1 or 2 momentary OFF-(ON) poles or with OFF-ON latching. It is contained in a body with a relatively short profile since the rear dimensions do not exceed 33.5mm, lugs included.
Because each application is different, and yours is unlike any other, the 316 stainless steel barrel from the SIRIUS range is offered in diameters from 16 to 25 mm, different button shapes, as well as numerous finishing options.
These buttons are available without or with LED lightingsuperbright(high brightness) single color, bi-color or RGB. This last option will allow you to light the crown, the central point or the Power-on logo in millions of colors via a PLC.
Finally, the optional quick connector will facilitate both installation and maintenance operations.

How to simulate an on/off latching button with a simple momentary button?

Most push buttons have momentary action. The latching types (ON/OFF or even “maintained” actuation) are often larger, with a deeper body, a little more expensive, and they are often not available in the style you want to use. So you may be stuck in your development if you need a small on/off switch to lock power to a load. In this design ideas we show you how you can use a simple SPNO (single pole, normally open) momentary push button switch to lock power to a load.
