The rugged design of the CTI industrial inductive joystick includes only three moving parts: the shaft (3/8 ”diameter solid stainless steel), the spring guide and the spring. The two parts of the joystick body that surround the shaft bearing are secured together with six screws. The four mounting holes have threaded brass inserts instead of simple clearance holes, which protects the body from cracking due to stress caused by installation, vibration or shock.
